Jackson Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Technician/Assistant to join our team in beautiful Jackson, WY. We are a fast paced 90% small animal 5% large animal practice and 5 % other, offering a full spectrum of medical and emergency care. We work closely with local wildlife rehabilitation groups and local animal adoption groups to supply care.

Our team specializes in a positive, educational, and productive work environment while providing excellent care for our patients. The ideal candidate has 2 or more years of experience or has obtained a veterinary technician degree. This job will require the following skills; IV catheter placement, monitoring anesthesia, restraining patients, administering medications, and more.

Housing opportunities are available for the right candidate. Emergency on-call shifts on a rotating basis will be required but are paid in addition to hourly wage.

About You: You are an experienced veterinary technician with a minimum of 2 years veterinary experience. It is incredibly important to our team to find the RIGHT fit. Anticipated Schedule: We are open Monday through Friday 7:30am - 5:00pm, Saturday 8:00am – 12:30pm, closed on Sunday. Our technicians work four 10-hour shifts with either a regular or rotating day off each week (based on preference). Saturday shifts are required – our technicians rotate and typically work only one Saturday per month.
